happy birthday princess!

guess who turned 15 on wednesday? thank you for all the wishes, i appreciate it very much. my birthday cake is from paris baguette.

it's fresh cream cake from paris baguette. it cost only $39. it's relatively cheap as paris baguette sells expensive bread, cakes and food. this cake was totally worth it. the cake sponge was so soft. it was really delicious. sadly, my family finished the cake in 1 night. yup, say goodbye to the cake.

do check out paris baguette someday! they sell really good food. although it is a little costly, i feel that it is worth that price. (:

"i am a kpop fan"

hey. i'm back again. this time round, i'm going to address the issue on being a fangirl. it seems like nobody in school understands me. i get so frustrated when people link me up to kpop for like every single thing. i am a proud kpop fan but aside from being a kpop fan, i am also a student, a sister, a daughter, a student leader, a dancer, a classmate and a friend to many. my love for kpop or maybe just infinite might be extremely crazy, but that does not make me more alien and less human. i am speaking for all the kpop fans in the world. each and every one of us have our own interest. for kpop fans, we love music. just because the music is in korean and we don't understand it, it doesn't mean we don't know how to appreciate art. those korean artistes (most of them) have really angelic voices that touches our heart. in my case, i really like sunggyu's voice. i don't need to know the lyrics to what he is singing. i just enjoy it. now, that is what i call art. my next point is, don't link kpop fans to crazy. you might not know their story. some of them are really vulnerable at heart and those kpop artistes are their emotional support. without those korean boys, i'm sure many would have cut and be gone for eternity. you must be wondering "what the shit on earth... how did those plastic ugly koreans save lives?" well, let me tell you. they are role models to many. they never give up. they continue working even if they are extremely tired. we all know that the entertainment industry is a cruel place. fangirls hang in there because their idols hang in there for them. do not just judge a book by its cover, some of these crazy fangirls are really low in spirits. they need their source of energy so do not hurt them further and please support them. there's another type of crazy fangirl. they have a really quirky personality. that is who they actually are. if you are not happy with their personality, please get the fuck off. you can't hate on one's personality. it's their nature. just accept it and move on. you don't want to hear people saying that they hate your personality. you are who you are and some things can't be changed. they are not crazy after liking kpop. they are just releasing their inner true self. the last point i am going to bring up is being a fangirl is not easy. stop saying that "being a fangirl is easy." that's what you see on the surface. we save previews and hds on a daily basis. we get ourselves updated on our idols. we tweet about ours idols. we watch every single tv shows and interviews that out idols are involved in. i am not complaining that i am having a hard time fangirling. I'm doing fine. i just hate it when my friends repeatly say that fangirling is easy and anyone could do it. not everyone can. ONLY DEVOTED FANGIRLS CAN. do you get my point??? i love fangirling a lot. why do i fangirl? I meet many people around the world through the internet who have common interests. i love music and dance. i love to see my boys working hard for their fans. they are my motivation to do better. my boys are my breather in life. if you know me, my work is really overwhelming and it's killing me. i'm even having depression but thanks to the boys, i am recovering well. we did not choose to fangirl. the fangirl life chose us. do not stereotype the whole entire kpop fandom because of the minority who are immature. thank you. (:

bbq chicken.

hello guys! i'm back again~ this post was supposed to be posted last week but i was too lazy so here you go now... so last saturday, i went to have lunch with my friend and yeap, we were really curious about bbq chicken. there are a few outlets in singapore and we've been seeing them around. however, we didn't really have the chance to try it until last saturday.

this is the golden chicken platter or whatever. i can't remember. it's really good and it has quite a big portion. it is the only type of fried chicken on the menu. so fried chicken lovers, this is a must try when you visit "bbq chicken".

this is the jerky bbq chicken platter. it's really good. the bbq sauce was perfect. it's a little spicy tho. i didn't order this but i tried it. really awesome. i'd order it the next time i visit "bbq chicken"

fruity soda @ $4.90 each. we weren't quite fond of the drinks. it wasn't up to standard. we didn't finish the drink despite eating dry food.

i can't exactly remember the price of the food. total we paid about $50. we were quite happy with our visit. they were playing 4minute songs all the way. literally partying at the restaurant. (:

Paris Baguette.

Night out alone again! My outfit is really simple and Korean today. Am I cute yet? Okay, that's not the main point. Today I went to orchard again and this time round, I went to try Paris Baguette.

UNIQUE ITALIAN TIRAMISU: $8

This tiramisu cake is superb. It is probably one of the best I have ever eaten in my life. It has many layers and it's not too sweet. The taste is really unqiue. Even though it is quite costly, I still think it's worth it.

LEMON ADE: $8

It's basically just a mixture of lemon and carbonated drink. It is not as special as I thought it will be. $8 is really too expensive. I totally regret it. I could have bought a Starbucks drink with that money.

My trip to Paris Baguette was a pleasant one. I really wanted to try patbingsoo but they ran out. The staff there are quite grumpy though. I guess they are tired. It's okay. I totally enjoy my food. Best of all, they played infinite's 1/3 and julia. I didn't even want to leave the cafe!

azabu sabo hokkaido ice cream.

HOKKAIDO ICE CREAM: $6.10 for double scoop cone!

This is basically my favourite ice cream. The one in the picture is milk tea flavoured ice cream. I reccomend green tea and milk tea. They are not too sweet and taste exactly like green tea and milk tea. You'll definitely want more after trying!

*They have many outlets in Singapore.

sperry top sider boat shoes.

I bought a pair of new shoes and it's a pair of sperry top sider! I love it! I look great with it~

(it's actually brown but the lighting...)

It's really pretty! I bought is at $139 at ngee ann city's  royal sporting house/stadium. It's really comfortable!!! I really don't regret buying this pair of shoes. (:

In any case, if you are looking for the shop, it's at the basement (i can't remember) and it's not in takashimaya department store.

THE STORY CONTINUES...
my pair of leopard prints decided to hate me and its sole came off. I went barefooted around ngee ann city. Therefore, it explains the sudden impulsiveness of new shoes.

Charlie Brown cafe.

Throwback to #thatday!!! (: Jimin happened to be free so we went on to have lunch together at orchard. We had a hard time deciding on where to dine and finally, we decided on Charlie Brown cafe.

Charlie Brown cafe is basically a Charlie Brown themed cafe. (okay I am stating the obvious) I really like the environment there. It's wonderful. A great place for people to catch up with their lives.

우리 지민언니... ㅋㅋㅋ 귀엽네요~

WEDNESDAY SPECIAL: CHARLIE CHICKEN CUTLET SET ($11.90)

The chicken cutlet set comes with Charlie Chicken Cutlet, a lemon tea and a brownie. I didn't want the brownie because I was already super full after eating the chicken cutlet. The chicken cutlet portion was damn huge. It has herbs(?) and it tasted alright. I just wish that they gave unlimited lemon tea. Anyway, $11.90 for this meal is definitely worth it. I had a full meal! Yumz~

CHEESY CRINKLE CUT FRIES ($5.80)

It came in a really big portion and it was really unexpected. It tasted like Burger King's cheese fries. If you were to go Charlie Brown cafe, I suggest you to try other food. You can always buy cheese fries at Burger King and it's so much cheaper though the amount given is smaller.

CHICKEN IN A BLANKET ($10.80)

I did not try this, but from what Jimin say, it tasted really good and sweet. She said it was worth it and will definitely come back next time for it.

FRENCH CLASSIC ($7.80)

This tasted quite average. It taste like pancakes. However, I really like this. It's sweet and it helps me to gain my appetite. $7.80 seems a little too expensive for it though. You might want to think twice before you try it as I feel that there are better choices than this.
